The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brian Sherman grew up in Canarsie, Brooklyn and is excited to have joined the team at Summit Orthopedics in 2023. Brian relocated to Chevy Chase in 2020 with his wife Deborah and his two children, Theo and Addie. Brian brings close to 20 years of experience within the orthopedic and rehabilitation field to help his clients return to full optimal performance with no pain or physical limitation. He is certified as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist and will be continuing to build his skillset by working towards becoming certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
Brian believes in motivating and educating his patients to help them return to their regular activities. He considers their requirements at work, home activities, caregiving, and exercise at their gym/studio all essential to a happy fulfilling quality of life. Brian's strong foundation in education allows him to give the best and most thorough quality of care to his patients - “By incorporating strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, posture, coordination and aspects of functional fitness, I plan to do everything in my power to help all my patients recover from pain, injury or physical disability.”
In Brian’s spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, movies and all types of outdoor activities and fitness including hiking, running, cycling, and weightlifting.
